How do I send you my photo?

On the product page you directly upload your photo. Checkout won't be available if a photo is not uploaded.

What wood do you use?

We work with premium cherry veneered mdf. Each board has its own unique grain — yours will be one-of-a-kind.

What type of photo works best?

Accepted Answer

Clear, well-lit photos with good contrast give the best results. Natural daylight is ideal. We recommend at least 1MB in file size — photos taken on a modern smartphone are usually perfect. Avoid very dark, blurry or heavily filtered images.

How do I make sure my photo is high enough quality?

Always upload the original photo straight from your phone's camera roll or your camera. Avoid screenshots and avoid photos that have been sent through WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram or other messaging apps — these services heavily compress images and strip out detail, which can leave your engraving looking soft or pixelated. If someone is sending you the photo, ask them to AirDrop, email or share it via Google Drive / iCloud / WeTransfer at original quality. We recommend a minimum of 2000 × 2000 pixels for the best result, especially on the A4 size. If in doubt, send us the photo first at foreverengravedmoments@gmail.com and we'll happily check it for you before you order.

What if my photo isn't suitable?

We personally review every photo before engraving. If we think your image won't give the best possible result, we'll contact you first and suggest alternatives. We never engrave a poor photo without letting you know.

What file formats do you accept?

We accept JPG and PNG files. The higher the resolution the better — aim for at least 1MB. Maximum file size is 25MB.

Can I send a group photo?

Yes, absolutely. Group photos, couples, families — all work beautifully. The main thing is that the faces are clear and well lit. For larger groups we recommend the A4 for maximum detail.

Can I send it directly to someone as a gift?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. If you're sending it straight to someone as a gift, simply add your personal message before checkout and we'll include a handwritten note inside the packaging.

Is shipping included in the price?

Shipping within Ireland is always free. For deliveries to the EU and US, shipping rates apply and are calculated at checkout.

Yes. We ship across the EU and to the US. Shipping rates for EU and US orders are calculated at checkout based on your destination.

How long does it take?

Each piece is made to order and dispatched in 3-5 days. Ireland delivery is typically 1–3 working days. EU delivery is 3–7 working days. You'll receive a confirmation email once your order is dispatched.

Is it really made in Dublin?

Absolutely. Every single piece is made in our Dublin workshop by us — no outsourcing, no overseas manufacturing, no dropshipping. We engrave it, inspect it, package it and post it ourselves. Every time.

Can I return a personalised item?

Personalised items can't be returned for change of mind as they're made specifically for you. However if there's any issue with quality or we've made an error, we'll always put it right immediately.

Can I cancel or modify my order?

Will it be affected by sunlight?

To keep your piece looking its best, display it away from direct sunlight and heat sources. With normal indoor care it will last a lifetime.
